Susan is a Program Manager, leading the San Diego Supercomputer Center’s (SDSC) Program and Events activities across the Center, and also serves as a Senior Project Manager for the Cyberinfrastructure Professionals (CIP) program. She has over 25 years of experience in higher education, high-performance computing, and research. Her roles have spread across the Center, working with senior management, leading strategic projects, and working across departments in Communications, External Relations, Industry Relations, and the Director’s Office. She has led programmatic activities to extend education and event activities throughout the local, UC, and broader research and industrial communities for many years. Over the years, she has held many leadership roles in several national-level conferences, along with the position as Communications Chair for the AMD HPC User Forum.
