Paul Rodriguez is a Computational Data Scientist at San Diego Supercomputer Center. He received his PhD in Cognitive Science at University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He spent several years doing research in computational and cognitive neuroscience, including neural network modeling, hippocampus modeling, and dynamical systems simulations. He also worked on statistical methods for analysis and predictions in fMRI data, including time series analysis, machine learning methods with multivariate data, often in the context of learning and memory experiments and theory. Since joining SDSC in 2009, he has been supporting HPC applications for diverse users in science and humanities, with emphasis on data mining, machine learning, and deep learning.
