Martin Kim


Dr. Martin Y. Kim is an experimental physicist specializing in quantum effects in solid- state materials, bringing over a decade of expertise to his field. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from Universität Paderborn, Germany, followed by postdoctoral research at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD). His current research focuses on integrating physics- informed machine learning with quantum material systems to advance physical AI.

Kim excels at connecting technical research communities with non-technical stakeholders, effectively fostering collaborations that advance education, research, and innovation. He is passionate about accelerating the development of the American workforce in critical emerging technologies, preparing the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators for careers in quantum technologies, semiconductors, and AI-driven systems.
