Hovakim Grabski is a visiting scholar from Armenia and Researcher/SysAdmin at Abagyan Lab, UC San Diego and SDSC, with experience in Python programming, ICM programming language for molecular modeling, docking, screening, and infrastructure automation. His work involves backend development, containerization, and high-performance computing (HPC) using platforms like SLURM and HashiCorp Nomad. Hovakim has worked on designing and managing pipelines for virtual screening of chemical compounds, utilizing GPUs to optimize scientific workflows. He has been working in Linux environments for over a decade, with experience across various distributions including Ubuntu and AlmaLinux.

His research background includes molecular dynamics simulations, database deployment, and microservice architecture. He has been involved in data science and big data analytics, contributing to projects in computational biology and chemistry. Hovakim has been fortunate to receive a few fellowships and awards, such as the Cyberinfrastructure Fellowship from SDSC and participating in Google Summer of Code. He is focused on continuous learning and enjoys solving problems in his field.
